Why Cadivus?

Cadivus is the ultimate property competition platform and is the first to be backed by a London property developer. This not only adds legitimacy to the property competition sector but also ensures the properties on our platform are of the highest standard. We have worked extremely hard to ensure we are compliant in every sense.

Winning a luxurious property should be hassle free. We will pay all associated legal fees and cover the first year’s running costs should you win. We are all about transparency and wouldn’t’ want to encumber you with any hidden costs.

In addition we will be giving 1% of ticket sales to charities close to our hearts.

How do I enter?

Entering is as simple as 1,2,3…

  1. Just click ‘Buy Tickets’ anywhere on the website and select the number of tickets you wish to buy
  2. Fill in your billing details and answer the general knowledge question then click ‘Place Order’. Here you can chose to create an account to keep track of your purchases and personal details.
  3. Sit back and wait for the competition to close!

WILL I HAVE ANY OTHER COSTS TO PAY?

Here at Cadivus we are committed to making the process of winning a luxurious property, hassle free. We will therefore be covering the following costs:

  • Stamp Duty Land Tax
  • Legal Fees
  • One year’s Council Tax
  • One year’s Service Charge
  • One year’s utility bills

WHAT ABOUT ALL THE LOVELY FURNITURE?

All furniture and fittings you see from the property pictures are included with the property. When we give you the keys to your new property, all you will need is your suitcase!

WHAT ARE THE RUNNING COSTS?

We will be covering the first year’s running costs associated with the property (we’re nice like that!). After the first year it is down to you to pay the bills.

Each property we give away will have different running costs but we would be happy to give estimate upon request.

HOW WILL I BE NOTIFIED IF I WIN?

Getting told you have just won one of our properties is going to be a life-changing event and we would prefer to deliver this news to you over the phone. If you cannot be reached on the phone we will send an email.

HOW LONG DOES EACH COMPETITION RUN FOR?

We will be running competitions on our platform for a period of 6 months. This will give us as much time to market the competition and collect plenty of data to help us improve. We hope to reduce this time period for our future competitions if we can so spread the word!

WHEN DOES THE WINNER SELECTION TAKE PLACE?

Once the competition comes to an end we hand over the entries to the experts at PromoVeritas. They handle our promotional compliance and will be selecting a winner immediately after the competition closes.

HOW DOES THE WINNER SELECTION TAKE PLACE?

The team at PromoVeritas are well versed in selecting winners for competitions. To cut a long story short, they select the winner using an independent, truly random process that will select the winning ticket number. No room for human error here!

IS THIS LEGAL?

Yes. We have worked extremely hard to ensure that our competitions comply with the UK Gambling Commission’s set of rules and requirements. This is the reason we have to ask the general knowledge question before you checkout.

WHAT DO I DO IF I WIN?

Firstly – remain calm! Once you find out you’re the winner, we will handle the boring legal bits and get the prize transferred to you. In the meantime, you may as well start celebrating!

HOW MANY TICKETS ARE BEING SOLD?

Each competition will have a different number of tickets needing to be sold in order to give the property away. For the current competition we will be selling a minimum of 300,000 tickets. A quick bit of math shows that you are about 150 times (yes 150!!) more likely to win this than The Lotto.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DON’T SELL ENOUGH TICKETS?

If we don’t sell enough tickets then unfortunately we cannot give the property away. However it’s not all bad news – PromoVeritas will still draw a lucky winner and we will award a cash prize.

HOW MANY TICKETS CAN I BUY?

You can buy as many tickets as you wish to. The more you buy, the more likely you are to win!

WHAT PRIZES ARE AVAILABLE?

If we sell enough tickets by the closing date the property will be given away to the winner. If an insufficient number of tickets are sold by the closing date we will be drawing a cash prize for the winner.

CAN I ENTER IF I LIVE OUTSIDE THE UK

Entrants from outside the UK must ensure that they are not breaching any of their own nations laws.

DO I HAVE TO BE 18 TO ENTER?

Yes – all entrants must be over the age of 18.

HOW WILL I KNOW THAT CADIVUS HAS GOT MY ENTRY?

We will email you a confirmation once we have received payment, which can take up-to 24 hours.

If you have still not received the confirmation please email info@cadivus.co.uk with your details and we will manually check your entry status.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WINNER CANNOT BE CONTACTED?

We will do our very best to contact the winner but in the unlikely event we cannot get through after 30 days we will have to redraw a new winner.

IS MY PAYMENT SECURE?

We use First Data, a global leader in payment technology, to process all online payments. All revenue generated from ticket sales will be held in a First Data escrow account until the competition closes.

CAN I BUY TICKETS FOR OTHER PEOPLE?

You certainly can. We think that it makes a great gift for people who are difficult to buy for.

IS MY TICKET VALID IF I GOT THE QUESTION WRONG?

Unfortunately any entry that has an incorrect answer will not be eligible to win the competition. This is to ensure that we comply with the UK Gambling Commission.
